2011-09-05 Work Bench & Cabinets : Terry's dad and step-mom visited us for labor day weekend, so Terry and his dad set to building a new work bench and installing a cabinet in the garage while he was here. Before and after photos below.

2011-04 Ikea Entertainment Center : Terry and I went to Ikea on Saturday (April 2nd) and picked out our dream entertainment center... after a little hassle (they sold us the wrong shelving parts, too shallow, Terry had to go back and get them to exchange those...) Terry finally began constructing for a few hours on Saturday night. Sunday was the bulk of the work with Terry working from about 11am - midnight on it (with breaks to eat of course!) By Wednesday he had completely finished it!

2011-02-25 New Garage Door : The old garage doors were the original wood sliding style. One side wouldn't even open more than halfway, so we talked to our landlord and he helped us get new doors! The new door is a 1 1/2" wide door, steel on both sides, fully insulated, with a liftmaster lift that has a battery backup and other goodies...and Terry and I paid for a finger scanner pad for getting in from the outside. Love the new doors! No more leaky gaps for air to come in and freeze us when we're in the garage now... and we can get into both sides when it's open!

2011-02-25 Upgraded Outlets : Had the electrician replace all the old outlets in our new place after he finished up w/ the new outlet for the garage door power. A few examples of some before and afters.
